On the eve of the 203rd anniversary of the birth of Robert Schumann, the Project Direction of the Schumann Network within the framework of the Schumann Forum are pleased to invite you to a talk with the young Ukrainian Marina Baranova, to be held on 7th June around 17 hrs with Dr Rainer Aschemeier, inter alia operator of the blog for classical music and “The Listener”.

Marina Baranova released a SCHUMANN CD in 2012, which was highly praised everywhere. Her appearances on the concert stage yielded much enthusiasm from the audience and the critique, including at last year’s Bonn Schumann Festival in November 2012, after which she was invited to become a member of the Board of Artists of the Schumann Forum.

On 8th June 2013, 20 hrs, Marina Baranova will perform the birthday concert for Robert Schumann at the Schumann House, one of the highlights of this year’s Bonn Schumann Festival, made to coincide with Schumann’s anniversary for the first in its history.
